Water research specialists are the non-traditional alchemists of our era. Their dedicated work is finding solutions to the seemingly impossible problems of our time. With partners like the Federal Laboratory Consortium for Technology Transfer and University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee’s School of Freshwater Sciences, we bring the innovators and their innovations out of the lab and connect them with companies, demonstration sites and talent. The Water Council aggregates, evaluates and connects emerging technologies that address water issues across a wide range of industries including utilities, agriculture and manufacturers.

The Global Water Center, a crucial part of our research engine, is home to the BREW Accelerator, Water Technology Accelerator at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and the Water Equipment & Policy Center, which operates under the auspices of the National Science Foundation Industry/University Cooperative Research Center Program.
