2017 AGENDA

One Room. One Moderator. One Water. Like technology evolves, so too does the format for Water Leaders Summit 2017. Steering away from the traditional “breakout session” conference approach, the Summit utilizes a dynamic program with four plenary sessions combining brief, provocative “story starters” followed by engaging conversations between Charles Fishman, author and Fast Company reporter, and global water leaders.

Big idea: “A secure future needs water”

Plenary session topics on water security:

  • Keeping control of your water system in an out-of-control digital world – Cyber
  • What happens when water causes conflict? – Diplomatic
  • Adapting human needs to our changing environment – Environmental
  • Turning water from a risk to an asset – Organizational

Connecting our audience in the same room throughout the Summit enhances the ability to determine targets and key relationships, offers intimate networking opportunities, and additional face-to-face time with speakers.

Host:
Rich Meeusen, President/Chairman/CEO of Badger Meter, Inc. and Co-Chair of The Water Council

Moderator:
Charles Fishman, Author of “The Big Thirst,” and Contributor for Fast Company
