The ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) and The Water Council are proud to announce a collaboration to offer a new, self-paced training course on water stewardship, the Comprehensive Water Stewardship Overview. This partnership leverages the expertise of both organizations to provide accessible and impactful training on responsible water management practices.
The Water Council has been a driving force in addressing critical global water challenges for more than 15 years. With a focus on freshwater technology innovation and water stewardship, the organization has fostered a thriving ecosystem of industry leaders, researchers, and entrepreneurs dedicated to sustainable water solutions. The Water Council’s deep understanding of water stewardship, combined with ANAB’s expertise in accreditation and training development, has resulted in this course designed to empower individuals and organizations to improve their water management practices.
This introductory course provides an overview of the best practices in the application of water stewardship when applied across an enterprise or at a specific site, addressing the growing need for professionals to understand and implement effective water stewardship strategies. The curriculum covers key topics such as understanding the nature of water-related risks and setting enterprise and site-level targets. The course is designed to provide participants with the practical knowledge and skills they need to implement water initiatives within their organizations as well as work in partnership with others to build an understanding of organizational water uses, impacts and risks.
“ANAB is pleased to partner with The Water Council on this groundbreaking initiative, enhancing the knowledge of future and current environmental stewards,” said David Feist, ANAB senior manager, training business.
“The Water Council developed this first-of-its kind training module to cover the entire spectrum of water stewardship from the board room to the shop floor,” said Matt Howard, The Water Council vice president of water stewardship, who led development of the course. “We are very excited to partner with ANAB to launch this course to a much wider audience globally. Their credibility in the field of training is unmatched, and their expertise has resulted in an improved learning experience for the water professional.”
The Comprehensive Water Stewardship Overview self-paced training course is now available through the ANAB website. Professionals interested in enhancing their water stewardship expertise are encouraged to enroll.
