CIS is a national leader in the development and implementation of public infrastructure solutions. Our focus is on improving the nation’s infrastructure via economic development driven by local investment and local capacity building, reduced public risk, and increased community investment and buy-in. Where needed, we can also provide access to capital needed to undertake and successfully complete a project.

CIS also offers related advisory expertise and services on topics such as nature-based solutions, climate resilience and disaster prevention, environmental finance, water affordability, and public trust.

Taking a community-based approach, CIS has overseen the implementation of over 400 green stormwater infrastructure projects totaling nearly $450 million in more than 50 municipalities across the Mid-Atlantic, Great Lakes, and West Coast regions, delivering the nation’s largest urban greening programs that provide access to opportunities for local, small businesses, and environmental literacy for members of the community. CIS currently has over $250 million of additional projects in its near-term pipeline.
