A team led by The Water Council has received a Development Award from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to plan a Regional Innovation Engine in Wisconsin. The goal is to facilitate solutions for manufacturers and utilities to mitigate and adapt to the effects of climate change through water and energy innovation. At the end of the two-year planning cycle, the team will apply for a Launch Grant from NSF that could provide up to $160 million over 10 years.
