The Water Council welcomed a new neighbor in July with the opening of Beckhoff Automation’s Milwaukee office in the Global Water Center.

Beckhoff, based in Germany with U.S. headquarters in Minnesota, is a provider of advanced and open automation solutions. The 3,660-square-foot Global Water Center office includes space for sales, engineering, support and training. The office also gives the company easy access to The Water Council, helping us work together to promote innovation in freshwater technology.

“This location in the Global Water Center shows our commitment to delivering leading-edge automation and controls technologies not just for machine builders and manufacturers, but also for process industry customers, particularly in water and wastewater treatment,” said Jake Schieffer, Midwest region manager for Beckhoff Automation. The company also is opening new facilities in Denver, Houston and Orlando this year.

As if that weren’t exciting enough, Beckhoff recently signed on as a sponsor of our BREW 2.0 Post-Accelerator, joining previous sponsor American Family Insurance Institute. The program targets late-stage water technology innovators, helping them build connections and grow capacity.

“As a company focused on leading-edge technologies, we are eager to support young and innovative companies focused on water sustainability and conservation.,” said Jesse Hill, process industry manager. “We’re also hopeful that we can find partnerships with these companies and support them with access to our network of customers and integrators to help accelerate their growth.”

Welcome, Beckhoff! We are thrilled to have you as a partner in making water work.
