On May 24, 2017, Dennis Webb, Owner of Sage Water, became the first-ever “Water Warrior of the Year” award recipient, presented during The Water Council’s 10th annual Water Leaders Summit in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Dennis is a staple within the Global Water Center (GWC) since it opened in 2013, serving as the Executive in Residence for the BREW Accelerator program; Lab Manager of the demonstration Flow Lab at the GWC; and a sought after mentor by future student water leaders and entrepreneurs alike. Dennis has guided and connected countless startups to real results.

“When you think of the saying ‘Pay it Forward’ Dennis embodies it. He goes above and beyond to provide insights, and is an all-around genuine person. As a young professional, it’s one of the best feelings to know that that he’s cheering you on, and cares about your success as a professional in the water industry.”

“Dennis is regarded by the students at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee as the one to work for, a great mentor and teacher. He has great rapport with our students, loves interacting and respects them for their inputs. Students leave their internships with Dennis inspired to go further.”

An alumni of the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, retired executive of Badger Meter, serial entrepreneur, investor, mentor and friend, Dennis Webb still wears many hats, when most would be winding down in their professional life. For these reasons, The Water Council is proud to present him with the inaugural “Water Warrior of the Year” award. Congratulations Dennis, and thank you for all that you do!
