people are the event: Learn about our post-weftec trip

By Beverley Ferrara, European Representative

And while I love the expansiveness of online connections, nothing beats getting together in the real world. It’s hard to beat the energy of meeting face-to-face.

A personal invitation

So I’m especially pleased to invite you to our second Milwaukee post-WEFTEC business development event for U.K. and European companies October 20-22, 2021.

Recognizing that people are the event, we’ve created a thought-provoking agenda to facilitate a meaningful exchange of ideas and strategies: from engaging with new, powerful panels to small group discussions featuring water specialists, state government officials, utility partners and industry C-suite executives, and, of course, through personal networking.

There will also be significant opportunities to connect with potential customers as well as business and technology partners.

We have factored in post-pandemic health and safety considerations in all planned activities.

Plan for success

In the interest of addressing our attendees’ needs as precisely as possible, we will hold two virtual briefings prior to this event to curate networking and meeting opportunities. And to maintain high-quality dialogue, we’re limiting the meeting size to 30 participants. We’re delighted to have already received early-bird registrations from water professionals in Denmark, the United Kingdom, Canada, the Netherlands, France and Spain.

Business and pleasure

Our intent is to create a professionally stimulating, yet personally rewarding, experience for you, from the minute we depart McCormick Place in Chicago to the time you are back at O’Hare for your flight back to Europe.

Because our state partners at the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) generously underwrite this event, all costs — other than hotel accommodation — are covered for the duration of the event.

If you are serious about exploring new opportunities for moving your business forward in the U.S., this is a 48-hour experience you won’t want to miss.

Please contact me at bferrara@thewatercouncil.org if you would like to learn more. But don’t wait too long.

I look forward to welcoming you to Milwaukee!
