Seeking Water Tech Solutions

Application is now open for our fall 2021 Tech Challenge! Our Tech Challenge connects water innovators to innovative water users. Our corporate sponsors — A. O. Smith, Badger Meter, Watts Water Technologies and Xylem — issue challenge topics. Applicants are invited from all over the world and all areas of innovation — universities, business, government labs and more — to submit their solutions. Finalists present their ideas to the sponsors, competing for $10,000 in top prize money and the chance to work with some of the biggest companies in the water industry, while the sponsors gain access to new innovations and research. A win for all involved!
For the first time, this challenge includes three topics. They are:
- Technology solutions to lower operating expenses in aerobic wastewater treatment
- Internet of Things-enabled water quality sensors
- Microbial control in distribution systems and buildings
