The Water Council announced Wednesday that author and Fast Company contributor Charles Fishman will serve as the moderator for the ninth annual Water Summit.
“Charles’ bold and insightful perspective on water challenges is matchless, and brings the Water Summit to a whole new level for our attendees,” said Dean Amhaus, president and chief executive officer of The Water Council. “The Summit audience will be able to get a glimpse of what it might be like to observe an engaging dinner conversation between Charles and some of the water sector’s leading professionals.”
The 2016 Water Summit is set for June 14 and 15 and is themed “Establishing a Water Resilient City.” Organizers have decided to do away with the breakout conference used in the past and will instead put on a program that combines brief, provocative presentations with conversations between Fishman and leaders from the water industry. Areas of focus for the conference include resilient infrastructure and environment, economics, health, policy and strategy.
