The International Water Association, the main trade group for the global water technology industry, will hold its annual board meeting in Milwaukee in June to coincide with the city’s annual Water Summit.

The Milwaukee-based Water Council, which coordinates the metro region’s efforts to coax new jobs and investment out of the existing cluster of water engineering companies, said the conference will help showcase Milwaukee’s water initiative and add to the roster of speakers and panelists at the Water Summit.

“Water Summit VII” is scheduled as a two-day event at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center on June 18-19. The IWA meets on June 19-20.
