The Milwaukee Water Council on Friday announced that it received a one-year, $50,000 grant from the Helen Bader Foundation.
The 2-year-old industry trade group has been working to close a wide gap in research spending with other regions that aspire to become global players in water technology and research.
The Water Council wants to goad economic growth and jobs from the cluster of water technology companies that already exist in the metro Milwaukee area.
