The Water Council’s BREW water technology accelerator program is entering its second round and is now accepting applications for the first-of-its-kind startup accelerator program.

The Water Council and Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. created BREW, previously known as the Global Freshwater Seed Accelerator, to demonstrate the city and state’s reputation as a global center of excellence for water-related research and industry. BREW stands for “Business Research Entrepreneurship in Wisconsin.” Funding is provided in part by WEDC in $50,000 investments for startups with commercialization potential, and matched by industry representatives and The Water Council.
