Xylem Inc., a leading global water technology company focused on addressing the world’s most challenging water issues, played a key part in opening the Global Water Center in Milwaukee, Wis., through its donation of pumps and products used in the building’s HVAC systems. The Global Water Center is a first-of-its-kind facility backed by The Water Council that is helping to position the Milwaukee region as a global capital of freshwater research and technology.

“When we spoke with The Water Council about the construction of the Global Water Center, we knew Xylem had to be a part of it,” said Mark Handzel, vice president, product regulatory affairs, and director, HVAC commercial buildings, for Xylem’s Applied Water Systems business unit. “Our compact and easy-to-install booster pump set efficiently provides essential pressurized water to all seven floors of the building, ensuring the businesses, researchers and water support organizations have the infrastructure they need to complete their work.”
