Don’t miss these opportunities in Washington, DC and Edinburgh, Scotland!

Alliance for Water Stewardship – North America (AWS-NA) and World Wildlife Fund (WWF) will host an AWS Water Stewardship Training at the WWF U.S. Headquarters, October 11-13, in Washington, D.C. The first two days provide AWS Foundation and Advanced training to assist with the use and implementation of the Standard. The third-day of Specialist training is offered for individuals who seek professional credentials as AWS trainers, consultants, and auditors.

The training will address an understanding of how water stewardship applies to organizational goals, while providing advanced knowledge in Standard requirements and implementation using case studies. This in-person training is tailored for organizations and individuals that will use the Standard as well as consultants, trainers, and auditors interested in working within the AWS system.

Additionally, Alliance for Water Stewardship International will host its Global Forum, November 1-2, in Edinburgh, Scotland. This event gathers water stewardship practitioners and promoters from around the world to explore the state of water stewardship and experiences from AWS Standard Implementation. The forum will offer diverse learning opportunities including expert masterclasses on the Standard.

The event is open to Standard implementers and specialist providers, public sector and policy organizations, water stewardship promoters, natural resource managers, and anyone else interested in engaging further with AWS and the Standard. It will conclude with the First Annual Members Meeting on November 3rd.
