Stacy Stevens, VP Marketing & Communications
Stacy joined The Water Council team in September and shared her water story, from family skating in Greendale, Wisconsin all the way to rowing on the Amstel River in Amsterdam. No matter where Stacy was, her story led her back to water…and to The Water Council.
We don’t want to tell just The Water Council’s story, but we want to share your news and events through our network. If you have a story, please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org — we’d love to feature yours!
Karen Frost, VP Economic Development
Kari Kennedy, The Institute of Beauty and Wellness
Two student research projects were awarded funds for the second year in partnership with Neroli Salon & Spa, The Institute of Beauty and Wellness and Aveda Institute Madison. Both projects were from UW-Milwaukee:
Eric Leaf, UWM School of Freshwater Sciences
With 13 campuses across Wisconsin offering water-related fields of study, the Freshwater Collaborative lead by UWM will allow students to pursue cross-campus water studies. Not only will this attract current students to pursue water as a career, but it will also attract students regionally and globally.
It has been an amazing decade and we are so thankful to have members and partners like you to share it with. From becoming a 501(c)(3) in 2009, to opening in the Global Water Center in 2013 and now planning our 13th annual Water Leaders Summit, we want to thank you for your unwavering support. We can’t wait to see what 2020 has in store!
