At the end of June, business leaders, governmental entities, academics, entrepreneurs and others will come together in Milwaukee to discuss worldwide water challenges and the future of water innovation.
The Water Council’s Water Leaders Summit is held annually for professionals from water technology organizations and water-intensive industries. The Water Leaders Summit also encourages attendance from utilities, government and university officials, media, investment groups, and students. Attendees come from all over the world, according to The Water Council.
Curated conversations are organized in an “unscripted” program, attracting water experts, influencers and practitioners looking for emerging technologies, top talent and new business opportunities.
The event will take place June 26-27 at Chrome at the Harley-Davidson Museum in Milwaukee.
Established in 2007, the summit is an annual forum for connecting an international network of water leaders to exchange ideas, share experiences, advance water-related goals, connect with emerging solutions and shape the future of water technology. Participants have included thought leaders from Campbell Soup Company, Ford Motors, DOW Chemical, Ecolab, United Nations, NASA, UC Berkeley, San Diego County Water Authority, Merck, General Mills, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Small Business Administration, Walmart, IBM and MillerCoors.
This year’s agenda includes discussions on rethinking water use, how humanitarian organizations are delivering safe water, the role water plays in leading corporations, prioritizing water quality for business profitability, and more. Registration is available online through June 21.
