FUTURE WATER LEADERS FUND AWARD PRESENTATION

Two student research projects were awarded funds for the second year in partnership with Neroli Salon & Spa, The Institute of Beauty and Wellness and Aveda Institute Madison. Both projects were from UW-Milwaukee:
- Basil Hable and Andrew Thompson – Low-Cost Fast-Data Particle Sensor for Harbor Monitoring
- Max Spehlmann – Linking Water Age to Bacterial Growth in a Tap Water Distribution System
FRESHWATER COLLABORATIVE
Eric Leaf, UWM School of Freshwater Sciences
With 13 campuses across Wisconsin offering water-related fields of study, the Freshwater Collaborative lead by UWM will allow students to pursue cross-campus water studies. Not only will this attract current students to pursue water as a career, but it will also attract students regionally and globally.
