Thank you to InSinkErator for hosting The Water Council’s Spring Member Meeting

To kick off The Water Council’s Spring Member Meeting, InSinkErator showed off their striking new R&D headquarters that opened in October 2018. The facility was nothing short of spectacular with different product testing rooms, collaborative work spaces and open area concepts. Most impressive was to hear the InSinkErator employees talk with great pride about their global company.

Rob Grim, Senior Vice President Sales at InSinkErator, provided an overview of the company’s history and their niche in water technology market. Mr. Grim described their goals and approach in designing the new facility.


WElcome BREW Winners

Steve Glynn, Director of Innovation at The Water Council, introduced the BREW 6 winners and invited them to provide an overview of their companies as well as describe what they hope to obtain by participating in the program. BREW 6 kicked-off their participation the following week with the first-ever BREW Week from April 1 – 5. Steve led the winners on various tours and networking events around the Milwaukee area to show off what resources may be available to the startups during their time in the program.


The Water Council’s Strategic Plan 2019 – 2021

Dean Amhaus, President and CEO of The Water Council, outlined the organization’s new Three-Year Strategic Plan, which creates a framework for continued success as it aspires to be the global center for advancing water technologies and stewardship to secure freshwater resources for the world. Just around the corner is the 12th Annual Water Leaders Summit that will take place at Chrome at the Harley-Davidson® Museum on June 26-27th. Charles Fishman returns for the fourth year to create a conversational atmosphere for water industry leaders. Concluding the meeting was a sendoff to the one and only Meghan Jensen, our Vice President Marketing & Communications, who recently took a position in Madison at a public affairs firm. Good luck to Meghan on her new adventures. You will be missed!
