Foxconn Technology Group will build its largest North American facility in Mount Pleasant, WI, with an anticipated groundbreaking this spring. This will be the largest economic development project in the history of Wisconsin and will create an estimated 13,000 jobs once completed. As an extension of agreements signed with Ben-Gurion University and the Israel Innovation Authority, TWC had the pleasure of hosting the Israel Economic Mission to the Midwest to hear pitches from seven Israeli water technology businesses looking to establish partnerships with TWC members.

Elizabeth Thelen, The Water Council’s only BREW Master, was celebrated as she moves on to a new role at Milwaukee 7 as the Vice President of Innovation & Tech Transfer. Elizabeth had been with TWC from its earliest days. She developed and oversaw the BREW Accelerator, Talent Campaign, and Pilot Program during her time with TWC. Cheers to the original DJ E, she will be missed!
