Cadens is developing the design and manufacture of next generation micro-to-small hydropower systems with in-house auto-optimized software for large format additive manufacturing of composite materials. The company, in collaboration with ORNL Manufacturing Demonstration Facility, is currently evaluating and validating their game-changing technologies with computational fluid dynamics and experimental analysis of additively manufactured end-use production parts and tooling in a real-world environment at Caden’s low-head test facility in Sullivan, WI. Cadens was recently the grand prize recipient of the American-Made Challenges I AM Hydro Prize (Dec.’20)
