Member Profile: APX10 drives proactive utility planning

APX10 logoAPX10 is a SaaS innovator that helps water and wastewater utilities turn sprawling subsurface asset and operational data into actionable insights for smarter infrastructure investment decisions. Its flagship APX® platform unifies GIS data, SCADA/IoT sensors, CCTV inspections and other legacy systems into a near real-time digital overview that strengthens strategic decision-making, prioritizes asset reinvestment and drives proactive planning rather than static, guess-based budgeting.

The idea for the APX® platform originated while part of the team worked in the Nordic branch of WSP. APX10 was established as an independent business in 2019 with deep roots in solving real utility challenges, and with full American ownership since 2020. It entered the U.S. in 2022, setting up an American headquarters at The Water Council’s headquarters at 247 Freshwater in Milwaukee. Since then, APX10 has been expanding its U.S. business; in November 2025, the company held its first U.S. user conference at 247 Freshwater, with users coming from several U.S. states.

Today, APX10 operates across Europe and North America, helping utilities prioritize their investment budgets, optimize operations, extend infrastructure life and embrace digital transformation with precision and agility.

“The Water Council has been a tremendous resource for us in the early stages of our growth,” says Ulrich Hansen, CEO and co-founder. “In fact, we met our first U.S. client, Kenosha Water Utility, at an event hosted by The Water Council just a few months after we opened our office. We continue to use The Water Council for matchmaking services and to stay informed on local water news in the state of Wisconsin.”
