Leaders in Water Stewardship
The Water Council has helped many companies on their water stewardship journeys through our WAVE programs, training and advisory services.
Learn about some of them here.
A. O. Smith Corporation
When A. O. Smith wanted to create a water strategy, it struggled to find a program with an enterprise-wide view. A. O. Smith partnered with The Water Council to develop a thoughtful long-term strategy around this issue. After completing the WAVE: Assess program in 2022, it became the first company verified to WAVE: Action in 2025.
Milo’s Tea Company
Milo’s Tea Company has prioritized water stewardship as one of its most significant sustainability initiatives to protect one of its most important ingredients – water – as the company scales its operations amid a period of massive growth. Through WAVE, Milo’s developed clear action plans to address water use in its operations and empower associates as water stewardship advocates.
Watts Water Technologies
Watts Water Technologies wanted to expand its role in global water stewardship. As a result of the WAVE: Assess program, Watts expanded water metering, continued community engagement and launched site-specific projects. The experience encouraged Watts to think about how it engages with communities worldwide on water quality and availability and how it can assist customers in the water stewardship process.
